Le Etniche - Hoblio
Hoblio is a special decorative interior house paint from the Antiche Terre Fiorentine line, and it has been developed to give the walls of your home an attractive and intriguing appearance. It combines heightened beauty with the tough resistance that a wall needs to survive over the years.
Hoblio offers three different colour options: Gold, Silver and Matte. Thanks to their carefully selected raw materials, these products recreate the same effects of light and shadow as those made by the wind as it shapes dunes in the desert. The process is incredibly simple, and with such a wide variety of colours, light tricks and reflections to choose from, all your aesthetic needs are sure to be met.
Features
Hoblio is the new decoration of the Antiche Terre Fiorentine line of Candis, belonging to the Le Etniche family. Completely water based, averagely transparent, ecological and produced with a careful choice of raw materials, it is proposed in three different neutral bases: gold, silver and opaque. For the decorative cycle you must first apply ATF white base on the walls and then brush the gold or silver bases, as they are supplied, over it. Alternatively, the gold, silver and opaque bases can be added to the ATF toner to create the desired tone. To obtain the best results, the ATF white base should be applied with a pasting brush, a roller or a spray with compressor.
Two coats should be applied, the first diluted 20-25% with water and the second 15-20%. The ATF toners are interchangeable for the gold and silver bases, while it is advised to accurately follow the colour indications in the catalogue for the opaque base. It is possible to use a quarter, half, one or two toner compositions.
The samples that are present in this catalogue show only the toner composition for 2.5 litre tins, and therefore, they are not exhaustive in the entire obtainable chromatic range, but simply an example of the decorative possibilities.
Preparation
Before proceeding with the decoration, make sure that the ATF white base is totally dry.
Pour the chosen toner into the preferred neutral base and mix accurately with a spatula or with a mechanical mixer until the two are totally blended together.
Using a Candis ATF brush, spread the decoration, working it with alternated and crossed intervals, making sure you pull it well to avoid accumulation.
It is advised to proceed without interruptions, so as to avoid passing over the already spread decoration again. Unlike the gold and silver bases, the application of the opaque base makes the wall coarser.
